Competing in the program's first NCAA Championships, the UConn women's cross country squad captured 8th place out of 31 teams with 304 points. Connecticut's outstanding performance at Louisville's Tom Sawyer Park on Saturday afternoon caps off a stellar season that saw the Huskies earning their highest national ranking (14th) and head coach Andrea Grove-McDonough being named the BIG EAST Cross Country Coaching Staff of the Year and the Northeast Region Coach of the Year.
