4x400 Team Advances to NCAA Championship, Makes School HistoryPublished by
On Saturday evening in Jacksonville, UConn's 4x400m relay team continued what has become almost a regular occurrence this season: setting records. The squad lowered its own school record time down to 3:34.83, but this time with higher stakes that resulted in an even greater accomplishment. The time gave the Huskies eleventh place in the NCAA East Regional and a ticket to Eugene, Oregon where the squad will have the chance to become the first-ever UConn 4x400m relay to earn All-American honors when the NCAA Championships get underway next month.
