The University of Connecticut women's track and field program finished third in a close meet with UMass Amherst, Rhode Island and Boston College at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex on Saturday. UConn finished with nine first place finishes on the day, three of which came courtesy of big performances from Saija Bikanova.
